In order to write an incredible physics lab report, you have to learn various important things. First of all, you have to learn how many sections are included in it. Secondly, you have to learn how to write those sections in a legitimate manner. So, for your information, physics lab report is based on 6 sections. Each section should be done as per its requirements.
Following are the details of how to write it effectively:
1. First section of your lab report is “Abstract”. It includes three important items in it: which experiment you performed? How you did that experiment? And what results are obtained? Make sure that this section should be brief and comprised of one or two sentences to answer each question.
2. Now, create “Purpose and Theory” section. In this section, you have to talk about background of your experiment. 3. “Data” section includes all kind of raw information you collected in the laboratory. Insert both the real and photocopied data collection sheets used in the lab. These sheets should be added in the appendix of your report. Organise your data in the form of charts and graphs.
4. Now here comes “Calculations” section. In this section, you have to include all the equations and calculations used to achieve your results.
5. Last but not the least; conclude your report with “Results and Conclusions” section. Provide a summary of your conclusions in the form of graphs and tables. Now, summarise your results in a brief manner. You can do this by relating them back to the original theory. Provide the details of any implications of the theory which you were experimenting.
